The Knowledge Bomb Newsletter
Today's issue is sponsored by Pliability.
In the past, I’ve struggled to get into a daily stretching routine, even though I understand how important it is to help reduce my stress levels and risks of injury in the gym.
I then stumbled upon Pliability, and for the last 18 months, I've barely missed a day and feel awesome!

UPDATE
SMALL AND MIGHTY!

It’s not the size. It’s what you do with it!
In the spirit of evolution and with deep respect for your time, I'm excited to announce a significant change to my Knowledge Bomb Newsletter…
I’m shifting gears to a sleeker, more focused approach.
Instead of the comprehensive read you're accustomed to, each week will feature just one short yet deeply impactful knowledge bomb.
My aim? To deliver the same rich, insightful content without overwhelming your inbox.
But that's not all…
If these bite-sized editions hit the sweet spot, I might up the tempo to twice a week!
Your feedback, as always, is crucial in guiding this journey.
Thank you for being a part of my newsletter!
I hope you enjoy reading it as much as I love writing it!
Takewaway: “Size matters not. Look at me. Judge me by my size, do you?”
PRODUCTIVITY
PROFESSIONAL PLATE SPINNER

Life is a delicate balance of spinning plates, with the skill not just in keeping them spinning but also knowing which plates to let spin and which to let go.
Life is like being a plate spinner at a circus…
We're always rushing around, trying to keep each plate – (each part of our lives) – spinning and balanced.
If your life is anything like mine, it consists of answering emails, half-listening to podcasts, and trying to spend quality time with the kids.
Or you're deep in work but pause to check your phone or chat with someone, then totally forget the work you’re doing. (Guilty as charged!)
Many people think being busy like this is good – it shows we're hardworking and efficient…
But here's the truth: our brains aren't built to juggle so many things simultaneously.
We can't give our best to any task when we spread ourselves too thin. It's like that old phrase “Jack of all trades but master of none”.
The result? We end up with many things half-done.
So, how can we get better at this plate spinning?
Here’s 4 Tips:
#1 Choose Your Plates Wisely
Not all plates are created equal. Some, like time with family, friends, and loved ones, deserve more of our focus. Other tasks aren't as important.
Even if some plates wobble and fall, it's not the end of the world because some plates bounce instead of break, you can easily pick them up later and spin again.
#2 Get Help With Your Plates
Remember, it's okay to ask for help. Divide your plates into those only you can spin and those you can give to others. Then, find people who can spin some plates for you.
#3 Don't Take On Too Many Plates
The word “No” is more powerful than you think. Often, we spin too many plates because we keep saying yes to others. Focus on your own plates first, and learn only to spin other people’s plates when you have room to do so.
#4 It Takes Energy and Focus to Spin Plates
You can't spin plates well if you're exhausted!
Make sure to recharge the batteries often. It is easier to keep all the plates spinning when you have the energy to do so.
Keep in mind, that the art of plate spinning is as unique as the individual performing it.
What sends one person's plates soaring might not do the trick for you – and that's perfectly fine!
Select the plates you wish to keep whirling and decide which ones can take a pause.
Learn, adapt, and evolve into the masterful plate spinner you're destined to be!"
Takeaway: True balance in life's hectic circus comes from understanding what to balance, what to delegate, and what to drop.
I hope you enjoyed this more condensed version edition of the Knowledge Bomb Newsletter.
