RM40: Built for Men Over 40 Who Refuse to Slow Down
Most fitness plans weren’t made for men in their 40s. They’re either too intense, too generic, or completely ignore the reality of getting older.
That’s why I built RM40, a 16-week transformation programme designed exclusively for men over 40 who want to:
✅ Rebuild strength and fitness
✅ Move better and stay pain-free
✅ Master their nutrition without extremes
✅ Maintain results for life
If you’re tired of quick fixes and ready for a smarter, sustainable approach to getting in the best shape of your life, this is it!
Mindset
I’m 90 years old, but I woke up in my 40-year-old body today.
I was shocked when I opened my eyes, feeling a surge of energy I hadn't known in years.
My joints didn’t ache.
My breath was deep and full.
I threw the covers off and jumped out of bed!
(Something I hadn’t been able to do for a long time)
The simple act of moving without struggle felt like a miracle!
The house was still quiet, the kind of stillness that comes before the day truly begins.
I walked past my kids' rooms and paused.
They were so young.
Their faces, peaceful in sleep, untouched by time and worry.
How often had I rushed past their doors, too busy to stop and just watch.
Today, I stood there, absorbing the moment, knowing how quickly it would all slip away.
As I got into my car, I caught a familiar face in the rearview mirror.
My dad, driving past in his old van.
My heart clenched.
He was alive!
Without hesitation, I called him.
The phone rang, and then, his voice was warm, strong, and unmistakably him.
A voice I hadn't heard in over 30 years.
"Hey, Dad," I said, swallowing back emotion.
"Just wanted to check in."
The past had given me another chance.
I arrived at Jiu Jitsu, a place I had longed to return to but never could.
The mats felt like home under my feet.
My body moved effortlessly, muscles responding like they were meant to.
I rolled, I laughed, I fought, and for the first time in years, I felt alive!
Not just existing, but living.
When I got home, I hugged my wife longer than usual.
I held her face in my hands and traced the details I had overlooked for years.
The lines that deepened when she laughed, the warmth in her eyes.
I called the kids in, piled onto the bed with them, and put on a movie.
We weren’t distracted.
We weren’t checking phones.
We just existed in that moment, tangled up in love and time!
Later, we went down to the beach.
The waves rolled in, the air was crisp, and the sea stretched out endlessly.
I took a deep breath, letting it fill my lungs like it was the first time.
The sound of the water, the feeling of the sand beneath my feet
These were things I had taken for granted.
Now, they were gifts.
That night, I invited friends over.
We ate, we drank, we laughed.
I took selfies, bad ones, unfiltered ones, the kind that captured real moments instead of perfect angles.
The kind that mattered!
As the day came to an end, gratitude washed over me.
How much of this had I missed before?
How often had I let the days slip by, assuming there would always be more?
I held onto everyone a little longer as I drifted off to sleep, knowing deep inside that this was just a dream.
That when I opened my eyes, I'd be 90 again.
But you... you're not dreaming.
If you're reading this and you're 40, you might be lucky enough to live another 50 years.
But what you might not be lucky enough to do is live them with the same energy, the same freedom, and the same people you have around you right now.
So let me ask you this…
What if today was that day?
The day you woke up and realised just how much you had?
What are you going to do differently today?

I hope you enjoyed this week’s Knowledge Bomb.
See you next week for another instalment.
